(HST)
Description
About the Workshop
Multi-day: Two-Part Workshop is Tuesday and Thursday October 27 & 29, 2026 | 1 – 5 PM EDT | 7 - 11:30 AM HST
This workshop is designed for construction professionals who already have experience using AI and want to build connected AI environments, repeatable workflows and more practical, structured capabilities inside tools like Codex and Cowork.
Rather than focusing on simple tasks like polishing emails, this two-part, live-virtual AI Workflow Systems for Construction workshop explores how AI can improve, organize and repeat common workflows. Participants will learn how to connect tools, organize information, and apply governance in ways that make AI use more consistent, scalable, repeatable and aligned with company standards. Participants will explore how AI can connect to common construction and business systems such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, email, calendars, and CRM platforms. *Actual live connections may vary based on participant access, company permissions, security settings, and available integrations.
The workshop focuses on setting up the environment to build repeatable workflows across common construction functions such as project communication, safety documentation, proposals, internal knowledge management, and operational planning. Participants will also be introduced to concepts like system connections, MCPs, folder structure strategies, and light automation through scheduled or repeatable tasks.
This is not an introductory workshop. Attendees should already feel comfortable using AI tools and be ready to deepen how they apply them.
Workshop Outcomes:
Build structured, repeatable workflows
Apply tools like Codex and Cowork to real construction use cases
Understand how AI connects to data, systems, and integrations (including MCP concepts)
Organize documents and information to improve AI output and workflow consistency
Evaluate governance, including where AI should and should not be used
Design and implement AI-supported workflows that reduce manual effort and improve execution
AI Experience Required.
To get the most value from this workshop, participants should already be familiar with:
Prompt development and iteration beyond basic one-off queries
Applying AI to real workflows, not just individual tasks
Concepts like prompt chaining or multi-step AI workflows
Foundational AI patterns such as RAG and context management
How AI tools connect to data and systems (e.g., APIs, integrations, or MCP concepts)
The importance of governance, including human review and responsible AI use
Who Should Attend: This workshop is ideal for construction professionals who are already experimenting with AI toolsand want to go further to reduce manual workflows, including but not limited to roles such as executives and operations leaders, project managers, preconstruction and estimating professionals, HR professionals, safety leaders, and business development or marketing teams.
