Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming how the AEC industry manages, secures, and leverages information. But before firms can take advantage of tools powered by large language models (LLMs), the foundation must be right — your data. Whether your firm is just beginning to explore AI or already experimenting with LLM tools, this session will offer valuable guidance to help you take the next step toward a smarter, data-driven future. This session will cover:

  • Understanding what “AI readiness” really means for AEC firms, and where to start
  • Considerations and best practices when working with AI solution providers and internal teams
  • Tips for identifying high-impact AI opportunities within your organization

The session will culminate in an interactive LEGO building exercise to reinforce some of the key points covered during the presentation


Presenter:


Kevin Soohoo is the Head of Global AEC Practice at Egnyte, where he leverages over 20 years of industry experience to advance data management, security, and governance for AEC firms worldwide. Formerly an IT and Innovation Leader for a top-ranked ENR firm, Kevin has a proven track record of transforming data into a competitive advantage. Beyond his corporate leadership, he serves as an Advisor to several Construction Technology startups and has been a member of the AGC Technology Conference Steering Committee since 2021.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to cancellations made 10 calendar days prior to the class kick-off. After such time, no refunds will be given. Replacements are acceptable and must be submitted via email to gca@gcahawaii.org.


GCA reserves the right to cancel programs up to 10 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
