SUMMARY:Construction Quality Management Online Training
DESCRIPTION:Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors is a three-day class joint training program provided by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers\, Honolulu Engineer District (HED) and the Naval Facilities Engineering Command\, NAVFAC Pacific.\n \nThis training is a mandatory certification requirement for an appointed Contractor Quality Control System Manager (CQCSM) that is good for 5 years.\n \n Due to high demand\, only two (2) employees per company\, per course. Participants will receive an EMAIL if no seats are available.\n \n First Priority -- FEDERAL JOB AWARD LETTER (copy) as a General Contractor must be sent with registration at gca@gcahawaii.org.\n \nSecond Priority (No confirmations until 1 week prior to class.)\n \n Requirements for Students: \nNAVFAC will be providing an "on-line" training via Microsoft TEAMS and proctor test at the end of training. The email invitation with link will be sent out before the class from the NAVFAC Hawaii instructor. The test will require students to keep cameras on during the class and test. The test will use Microsoft Forms accessed by internet browser. Ensure that you have the latest version of Microsoft Edge\, Chrome\, Firefox\, or Safari to use during the class and for the test. After verification from NAVFAC that the test has been completed\, the evaluation completed\, the student may leave the on-line session. If there are any changes of the test requirement\, the NAVFAC instructor will let you know. Student shall not be allowed to share devices and must be in separate rooms or at least 10ft apart if in the same room. Invitees to the Class will be provided by email. The email will contain the link to the "live" CQM class. Results will be provided after three business day via email provided.\n \nThe Certificate will be available for pick up the following week if students pass the test at the 3rd day of training. \n \nComputer and cellphone with camera with internet access is needed. Students will need to have downloaded Microsoft TEAMs App. Students will have to have pen/pencil and papers. Student Guide will be emailed to students prior to class.
