SUMMARY:FREE AGC Webinar: 2026 Election Results: What It Means for Contractors
DESCRIPTION:Description:Join AGC of America as we break down the results of the 2026 election and what it means for contractors. Our team will unpack the new balance of power in Washington\, and the policy shifts likely to follow then translate what that actually means for your business.\n\nWhy does this matter? Election outcomes shape the decisions that directly affect your bottom line. A vote on a surface transportation bill can change the number\, size\, and timing of projects available to bid. Tax votes determine whether firms can immediately deduct equipment purchases\, invest in new technology\, and retain more capital for hiring and expansion. Workforce\, labor and immigration votes affect who you can hire and under what rules. And permitting decisions determine how quickly projects can move from planning to construction.\n\nIn other words\, what happens in Washington doesn't stay in Washington it shows up in your pipeline\, your payroll\, and your plans for growth. Join us to understand what's changed and how to prepare.\nFeatured Speakers Alex EtchenVice President\, Government Affairs | AGC of AmericaAlex Etchen is Vice President of Construction Advocacy & Risk Management at the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)\, where his responsibilities encompass a range of federal infrastructure and transportation issues.
