The Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) requires that all iron, steel, construction materials, and manufactured products incorporated into infrastructure projects receiving federal funding must be produced in the United States. Infrastructure is defined broadly to include the structures, facilities, and equipment for projects that serve a public function. BABA is distinct from other domestic preference laws and regulations, including the longstanding Buy American Act (BAA), which applies to direct federal purchases.

Projects that require BABA compliance include projects funded by over 70 different EPA programs. This webinar will go through the requirements that EPA has jurisdiction over and will highlight what contractors need to know about the Buy America program throughout the bidding and construction process.
