GCA Environment Committee: DOH Clean Water Branch Update

The GCA Environment Committee invites you to attend the presentation from the DOH Clean Water Branch on July 15 at 10:00 a.m. via zoom or at the GCA Conference Room. 

Mr. Darryl Lum will focus on the following key points:

• Water Quality Management Improvement Work.  (Note: Previously called TMDL Improvement Strategy with Statewide Monitoring Surveillance System in last year’s presentation.)
• Guidance clarifying how state waters are identified and regulated in response to 2023 Supreme Court Sackett decision.
• Duration of NPDES General Permit Coverages provided under Hawaii Administrative Rules Chapter 11-55, Appendices B, E, F, G, and K.
• Blanket Water Quality Certification (WQC1100) for 2026 Nation Wide Permits.
