Pre-Construction Layouts with AutoCAD is a two-level training series designed to show how AutoCAD can be used beyond traditional drafting to support real-world pre-construction planning and coordination. The series begins with project setup, file organization, referenced files, underlays, drawing comparison, and Sheet Set Manager to streamline document control and collaboration. It then advances into site planning workflows, including geolocation, access and traffic control layouts, logistics planning, and custom tool creation for faster quantity counts and takeoffs. By the end of the series, you’ll be equipped to organize projects, visualize site logistics, and manage pre-construction layouts efficiently and accurately.
This live online series offers 2 four-hour courses. You can take both courses or just the one that meets your needs. Each separate course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.
