This 32-hour program encompasses four in-depth units covering everything from BIM basics to advanced technology, project execution, and implementation strategies. It’s interactive, with real-world case studies, ensuring you gain practical, applicable skills. Completing the program qualifies you to earn the prestigious Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM), marking you as a leader in digital construction

BIM Learning Objectives

Courses will be offered online via the Zoom platform, a webcam is required for participation. Registration costs include all course participant’s materials.

For the classroom:

  • Please have Zoom downloaded.
  • Computer with dual monitor preferred.
  • Laptop is good with a separate tablet to access their etextbook.
  • Tablet or phone is ok with hardcopy textbook
  • Two mobile devices ok – one for the meeting and one for the e-textbook

For participation:

  • Camera, either built in or added on and ready to stream to the classroom.
  • Headphones or earbuds with microphones are preferred
  • Computer/device mic and speakers are ok if in private, quiet room.
  • Each student should be on their own computer/laptop/tablet, if possible. This will aid in learning and working within breakout groups during the course.

Meet Your Course Instructor:

Pablo Medina | CM-BIM/Lean, DBIA, LEED AP

Pablo Medina has worked for the largest general contractors in the United States, including Mortenson, Turner, and McCarthy. He manages all BIM implementation for pre-construction and operations for the San Diego Business Unit. He has implemented BIM on several Mega Projects (1+ Billion) during his time at Turner and McCarthy and has also implemented BIM at the field level for McCarthy’s self-perform division.

Pablo also has a passion for teaching and sharing BIM and other construction technology practices. He is an active instructor for the AGCs BIM Education Program and Project Management Course. He is the co-founder and co-host of Shared Coordinates, a Spanish-language podcast that aims to share knowledge of BIM and AEC construction technology practices.

Cost for the program is $1,695.00 for members and $2,075.00 for non-members. Includes all course participant’s manuals.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to cancellations made 14 calendar days prior to the class kick-off. After such time, no refunds will be given. Replacements are acceptable and must be submitted via email to rockkie.dunton@agc.org. 

AGC reserves the right to cancel programs up to 10 days prior to start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
