Description
The purpose of this virtual, quarterly town hall is to communicate key safety and health issues and challenges, as well as discuss enforcement, regulatory, and outreach activities at the national and local levels. Open to all AGC members and Chapters, the meeting also provides an opportunity for industry professionals from various sectors to share best practices, discuss emerging safety trends, and collaborate on ways to improve safety across the entire construction industry. Please note that these sessions will not be recorded for distribution. .

Kevin Cannon, CSP, ARM
Senior Director, Safety, Health & Risk ManagementAGC of America
Kevin is the Senior Director of Safety, Health, and Risk Management at the Associated General Contractors of America. For over 15 years, he has served as the primary liaison for federal safety regulations. He is responsible for monitoring regulatory activity related to safety and health and communicating with members and chapter staff. Kevin is also responsible for providing technical and other support for those directly involved in congressional relations, analyzing, and otherwise assisting with any proposals for new or revised legislation that could have a significant impact on safety or health practices in the construction industry. Kevin is currently a member of the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH), which advises the Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA on regulations, standards and policies that impact the construction industry. He received his B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health from Millersville University and holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
