Take control of the jobsite. All the tools you need to finish the job faster.

Bluebeam construction software makes it easy to create, organize and share detailed site logistics plans for even the most complex jobsites.

Want to learn how to create great site logistics plans? This 4-hour Bluebeam course will teach you just that! You’ll learn the basic and advanced tools for logistics plans, like how to draw work areas, and fences, and show equipment areas and work zones. You will learn how to represent the flow of work and materials and you will learn to use simple symbols for things like first aid, trailers, and entrances/exits.

Learning Objectives:

  • Create customized markups for site planning and coordination.
  • Creating a tool chest of logistics items for future use.
  • Develop Dynamic tool sets that auto-resize as per the PDF’s scale.
  • Establish legends for immediate visual interpretation of markup signs in PDFs.
  • Working with BIM and 3D images
  • Utilize Bluebeam Studio for team collaboration and reviewing your logistics plans.


Meet Your Facilitator:

Pablo Medina | CM-BIM/Lean, DBIA, LEED AP

Pablo Medina has worked for the largest general contractors in the United States, including Mortenson, Turner, and McCarthy. He manages all BIM implementation for pre-construction and operations for the San Diego Business Unit. He has implemented BIM on several Mega Projects (1+ Billion) during his time at Turner and McCarthy and has also implemented BIM at the field level for McCarthy’s self-perform division.

His roles as a superintendent, project engineering, and BIM expertise have given him experience in various departments, delivery methods, and project phases, including Business Development, Pre-construction Design Validation/Coordination, Construction Coordination, etc., Design-Build, Design-Assist, and Model-Based Estimating.

Pablo also has a passion for teaching and sharing BIM and other construction technology practices. He is an active instructor for the AGCs BIM Education Program and Project Management Course. He is the co-founder and co-host of Shared Coordinates, a Spanish-language podcast that aims to share knowledge of BIM and AEC construction technology practices.

Technology Requirements

Workshops are delivered via the Zoom platform; a webcam and mic are required for participation. A laptop with headsets or earbuds are strongly recommended. Participants must have Bluebeam downloaded and installed. Participants will be required to download the trial version if they do not already have the Bluebeam software.

Pricing
Registration Fee: $450

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to cancellations made 14 calendar days prior to the class kick-off. After such time, no refunds will be given. Replacements are acceptable and must be submitted via email to rockkie.dunton@agc.org.

AGC reserves the right to cancel programs up to 10 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
