Description: 

As a Project Manager, your job is to minimize risk on a project by participating in the planning, implementation and monitoring of the project schedule, budget, and quality control. The schedule is a key tool used to communicate to all stakeholders on the project and create both big and small snapshots of actual and planned progress. Join this interactive class to review, discuss and demonstrate MS Project and best practices of construction project scheduling.

  •         Recognize types of schedules and their application
        
  •        Define scheduling terms and functions
        
  •        Navigate MS Project software
        
  •        Create a simple schedule in MS Project
        
  •        Identify MS Project tools and best practices
        
  •        Update existing schedule in MS Project
        

 Technology/software requirements/needs: This workshop will use the Microsoft Project software. Workshops are delivered via the Zoom platform; a webcam and mic are required for participation. Headsets or earbuds are strongly recommended.  

Who should attend: Project managers, project engineers and field supervisors who need to make or update schedules.

 Prior to registering, here are the steps to get you and anyone else registered for courses:

  • Click on the registration link.

(If using the email lookup option and you receive a message saying “0 contacts found”, click continue and proceed if you aren’t an AGC member, if you are an AGC member, visit Create Account (agc.org) to create a new member profile first). Once your member profile is complete, allow up to 24 hours for your member profile to be verified, after which you should receive the member rate.

Pricing

Cost for the program is $400.00 for members.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to cancellations made 14 calendar days prior to the class kick-off. After such time, no refunds will be given. Replacements are acceptable and must be submitted via email to rockkie.dunton@agc.org. 

AGC reserves the right to cancel programs up to 10 days prior to start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
