AGC Town Hall "From Awareness to Action: Neurodiversity in Construction"
AGC Town Hall "From Awareness to Action: Neurodiversity in Construction"
Thursday, November 12, 2026 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (HST)
Description

Neurodiversity is an important part of today’s construction workforce, yet the strengths, perspectives, and experiences of neurodivergent individuals are not always understood or fully supported in the workplace.
Building on the AGC Culture of CARE Neurodiversity Toolbox Talks (Part 1 and Part 2), this town hall will move the conversation from awareness to action. A panel of construction industry professionals will explore common misconceptions, workplace experiences, communication considerations, and practical approaches for supporting neurodivergent individuals across jobsites, project teams, and corporate environments.
Through candid discussion and real-world examples, panelists will share what is working, where organizations can improve, and how leaders, supervisors, and team members can help create environments where neurodivergent employees can contribute their strengths and perform at their best.
Attendees will leave with practical, actionable ideas to improve communication, strengthen team collaboration, support employee success, and advance a culture of inclusion across the construction industry.
