GCA’s BreakingGround 808 (BG808) program is back—and this year, open to all members! After two successful years that paired educators from ten (5 in 2024, 5 in 2025) Oahu high schools with GCA member companies, we’re ready to launch the 2026 program of this transformative workforce development program. BG808 focuses on equipping the teachers and counselors with the knowledge and hands-on experience of the construction industry through six immersive days of classroom and hands-on field learning. Educators walk away with a deeper understanding of our industry and its diverse career paths, which they can then pass on to their students!
