Mālama Maunalua is committed to restoring the health of Maunalua Bay through habitat restoration, science and planning, and education and outreach. Restoring Maunalua Bay takes a community that understands the Bay is in trouble, believes the Bay is worth saving, and has hope that the decline can be reversed. Join the CLC as we will help restore the marine environment by removing invasive algae from the nearshore waters! Family & Friends are welcome! Lunch to be provided.
WHAT TO BRING:
Water to stay hydrated
Sunscreen
Clothes that can get wet
Towels, hats, and a change of clothes recommended
Water shoes and gloves if you have (Mālama Maunalua does provide water shoes and gloves, but quantities are limited and are only in adult sizes 5-13 and S-XL)
